It’s nice to meet you

Growing up, I was the kid who made music videos in iMovie and held the record for acing the most spelling tests one year. I don’t know why I was ever surprised that I ended up working in communications.

I started my journey in marketing and communications at Red River College Polytechnic in 2019 as a Business Administration student. I quickly fell in love with the strategy and thought process behind marketing, but I was curious about the other creative elements that would bring it to life. That’s when I found Creative Communications. As a Public Relations and Communication Management major, I got to dive into strategic thinking while also honing my writing, storytelling, advertising, video production and design skills.

Now with over two years of experience at a marketing and PR agency, I’ve had the opportunity to work with clients all over Manitoba and beyond, executing media relations, crisis management, community relations, internal and external strategic communications campaigns.

My favourite part of this field is that I get to help make a difference in organizations. My 10-year-old video-editing grammar-nerd heart is incredibly fulfilled.
